This beats them all hands down. The attention to detail (straps to help pack the rolled up room, extra reinforcements at every stress point, a built in bag for the stakes, sewn-in instructions) and the quality of construction are exceptional. It definitely takes two people to set it up, but this is worth the price.

This is a good shelter, shade provider, rain diverter, bug keeper-outer. Set up/take down is easy and quick. The side awnings really come in handy. Though I would like to also say that a couple of pockets on the sides that don't open could help. also a loop in the top to hang a small battery operated light would also be a good thing. But overall, worth the investment. The fact that this 31 lb. shelter replaced one that weighed overall about 150 lbs and took up a lot of space (including 10 ft poles on a roofrack) was the main point of consideration. But here is a funny thing - in the paperwork there's a disclaimer about setting up the Paha Que in sunlight, that it might harm the shelter - Duh! it is supposed to be a sun shelter/shade provider besides keeping the bugs... LOVED it. I was so excited for it. I have been camping all of my life and my husband used to work for Eastern Mountain Sports so we did a TON of research before buying this screenroom. We were so excited when it came we went right out to set it up. We had watched the video on their website so we felt informed on the set-up.
Well, before we even got it all the way up one of the roof poles snapped. Now we have probably set up at least 20 different tents between the two of us, so I would say that we are fairly knowledgeable in tent set up and how poles need to be all the way together. I was so bummbed but when I contacted Jason at Paha Que he said they don't usually have problems with poles but if I sent the pole back they would fix it fast and send it back in plenty of time before my first camping trip 4 weeks later. 3 weeks later I contacted Jason again just to make sure it would be back in time for our trip...
